Ryan Alan Smith
Ryan Alan Smith's research interests include race and gender stratification at work, race and ethnic relations, and the effects of diversity on workplace outcomes. He is available to comment on:
— labor relations as it relates to race issues
— workplace stratification
— human resource policy
In addition to his work at Baruch College's Marxe School of Public and International Affairs, Smith has been an Assistant Professor at Rutgers University and a Research Fellow at Harvard University.
Smith's work has been featured in numerous publications including The Annals of the American Academy of Political and Social Science, American Behavioral Scientist, American Sociological Review, Annual Review of Sociology, Social Forces, The Sociological Quarterly, and Social Problems, among others.
Smith received a Ph.D. in Sociology from the University of California, a M.S. in Sociology from the University of Wisconsin and a B.A. in Sociology from the University of Pennsylvania.
