Norman Strauss is a Distinguished Lecturer of Accountancy at the Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College and a Certified Public Accountant. He is available to comment on the following topics:

Beyond his work at Baruch, Strauss was the National Director of Accounting at Ernst & Young and their representative on the Emerging Issues Task Force and Financial Accounting Standards Advisory Council of the Financial Accounting Standards Board. He also chaired the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants’ (AICPA) Accounting Standards Executive Committee.
In addition to being a member of the AICPA, Strauss is also a member of the Financial Reporting Committee of the Institute of Management Accountants as well as a member of the New York State Society of CPAs.
Strauss’s work has been featured in publications including the Harvard Business Review and the Journal of Accountancy and has been a frequent speaker at various financial conferences.
Strauss graduated with a B.B.A. in Accounting and an M.B.A. in Taxation from Baruch College.
