Naomi A. Gardberg
Naomi A. Gardberg (PhD, NYU) is an Associate Professor of Management at Baruch College, Dr. Gardberg teaches the capstone (strategy) course for the undergraduate, graduate and Baruch/Mt. Sinai Healthcare Administration MBA programs as well as an undergraduate international management course and a doctoral seminar in cross-cultural research methods.
She is available to comment on:
non market strategies such as political contributions
the creation, transfer and dissipation of intangible assets, such as corporate reputation
the effects of marginalization on stakeholder behavior.
Dr. Gardberg participated in the development of several measures of corporate reputation
including RepTrak, RepTrak Pulse and the Reputation Quotient, which have been used in dozens of countries over the past 10 years, with the Reputation Institute and Harris Interactive. Her most recent measure is the Baruch Index of Corporate Political Disclosure.
She has published her research in several journals including Academy of Management Review, Business & Society, Corporate Reputation Review, and the Journal of International Business Studies as well as in book chapters.
Dr. Gardberg holds a Ph.D. from the Stern School of Business of New York University, an M.B.A. from the Freeman School of Business of Tulane University and a B.A from Newcomb College of Tulane University. She is a member of the Academy of Management, Academy of International Business, and the International Association of Business and Society.
