Marios Koufaris is an Associate Professor in Computer Information Systems at the Zicklin School of Business. He teaches courses in e-Business and Information Systems Strategy and he is the Area Coordinator for the Information Systems specialization of the PhD program in Business. He is available to comment on the following topics:
— Technology-based entrepreneurship
— Online consumer behavior
— Information technology and business strategy
His research interests include consumer behavior in web-based commerce, end user behavior, and the social impact of IT. His work has been published in Information Systems Research, MIS Quarterly, Journal of Management Information Systems, International Journal of Electronic Commerce, Information & Management, DATA BASE for Information Systems, and Communications of the ACM. He has also published chapters in several books on technology and business as well as the proceedings of various international conferences. He is currently a Senior Associate Editor at the European Journal of Information Systems.
He received a BSc in Decision Sciences from the Wharton School of Business and a BA in Psychology from the College of Arts and Sciences, both at the University of Pennsylvania. He also earned a PhD in Information Systems from the Stern School of Business of New York University.
