Beyond her work at Baruch, Lauren is on the editorial boards of the Journal of Consumer Research and the Journal of Public Policy &Marketing. She is an Associate Editor for the Journal of Consumer Research and the Journal of Public Policy & Marketing and has worked with The Advertising Council Research Committee.
Block’s work has been featured in several publications including Journal of Consumer Research, Journal of Marketing Research, American Journal of Public Health, Journal of Public Policy & Marketing, the Journal of Consumer Psychology, the Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, and the International Journal of Research in Marketing.
Block graduated with a B.S. in 1984 from the University at Albany-SUNY, an M.B.A in 1988 from Emory University and a Ph. D. in 1993 from Columbia University.
