Ko Wang is the Newman Chair in Real Estate Finance for the Department of Real Estate at the Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College. He teaches courses in Real Estate, Corporate Finance, and Investments.

Wang has held several academic positions at the University of Texas at Austin, California State University at Fullerton, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, the National University of Singapore, and Tsinghua University.
Wang has had article published both in real estate and finance journals, including Real Estate Economics, the Journal of Real Estate Research, the Journal of Urban Economics, the Journal of Real Estate Finance and Economics, the International Real Estate Review, the Journal of Business, the Journal of Finance, the Journal of Financial Economics, the Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, and the Review of Financial Studies. He is the editor of the Journal of Real Estate Research, founding executive editor of the International Real Estate Review and co-executive editor of the Journal of Housing Studies.
Wang graduated with a L.L.B in Urban Affairs from Chinese Culture University. He received an M.S. in Community and Regional Planning as well as an M.B.A. and Ph.D. in Finance and Real Estate from the University of Texas at Austin.
