Aldemaro Romero



aldemaro romero baruchDr. Aldemaro Romero Jr. is the dean of the George and Mildred Weissman School of Arts and Sciences and professor of biology in the Department of Natural Sciences.

He is an internationally recognized scholar, a committed advocate for liberal arts and science education, and a highly accomplished administrator. His approach emphasizes interdisciplinary curricula, experiential hands-on and service learning, and internationalization; faculty-student engagement; intellectual enrichment and collaboration; diversification of faculty, students, and staff; improving physical and financial assets; and increasing the enrollment of well-qualified students.
