Jennifer M. Pacella, Assistant Professor of Law in the Zicklin School of Business, has areas of expertise in whistleblower protection under the federal securities law. She is available to comment on the following topics:
- Federal whistleblower programs, anti-retaliation protections and bounties for whistleblowers under U.S. securities law, and culpable whistleblowers
- The immunity of self-regulatory organizations in the securities industry
- European Union immigration law
Professor Pacella’s work has been published in numerous publications, including Wayne Law Review and Georgetown Immigration Law Journal. Her work is also forthcoming in Temple Law Review and the University of Pennsylvania Journal of Business Law. She has also been quoted in the Canadian Financial Post.
Professor Pacella is a member of the New York State Bar Association and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. She earned a BA in Political Science from SUNY Geneseo, an MA in Political Science from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and her JD from SUNY Buffalo Law School with honors.
