AffordableSchools.net helps adults of all ages and backgrounds obtain a high quality education while avoiding huge college costs and in many cases huge college debt. The online source was established to help students make smart higher education choices.
For their Methodology, AffordableSchools.net used the following criterion to measure affordability: it first bulked-collected NCES net price data for colleges offering a bachelor’s degree in the various disciplines, filtering out data for United States protectorates such as Guam and Puerto Rico. Then they sorted on net price and verified each college manually with the college’s NCES profile, and added data for the latest recorded in-state and out-of-state tuitions. They also included Areavibes.com cost of living scores (F-A+, where A+ is the best), but not included it in the ranking.
