NEW YORK, NY -- May 13, 2015 -- Three teams of Baruch College students applied their marketing knowledge and creativity to earn cash prizes from Target Corporation as part of the Target Case Study Competition. The winners were announced on May 7.

The competition was open to students from Stacey Finkelstein’s marketing capstone course, and 112 participated. The winning team members are Baruch seniors Marina Baltaeva, Nirvani Harriram, Min Hye Kim, Jasmine Mingo, Mariya Nikitsina and Christine Urban.

This is the third time Baruch has participated in the competition, which Target hosts at other colleges throughout the United States. The students conducted consumer surveys, analyzed company reports and put together a final 15 minute presentation. Professor Finkelstein and Julia Heim, a Bernard L. Cash prizes were awarded by Target to the top 3 teams. The first place team won $750. The second and third place teams earned $500 and $250 respectively.
