Welcome Stephanie Vullo, Baruch’s New Legal Counsel
To the Baruch College Community:
I am pleased to announce the successful completion of the College’s search for a new Legal Counsel with the appointment, effective today, of Stephanie Vullo. Stephanie comes to us from New York University, where she has served for the past ten years as Associate General Counsel.
In her new role, Ms. Vullo will join the President’s cabinet and will be called upon to provide timely assistance and thoughtful legal advice to all elements of the School. Among other duties, Stephanie will work closely with the Office of Human Relations and with counterparts at CUNY to assure compliance with laws and regulations governing employment. She also will serve as legal advisor to the President, and will prepare and review contracts and other agreements entered into by the College.
Prior to her appointment at NYU, Stephanie Vullo served as Assistant Attorney General in the New York Attorney General’s Office, where she had responsibility for representing both CUNY and SUNY. She earned her JD from the Pace University School of Law, as well as an MPA from the NYU Wagner Graduate School of Public Affairs and a BA from Cornell.
I am confident that Stephanie Vullo’s experience and strong legal skills will advance the interests of the College in many ways. Please join me in congratulating Stephanie and offering her a warm welcome to the Baruch community.
