Supporting the Baruch Means Business Campaign

To the Baruch College Faculty and Staff,

At this time of year, many of us take the opportunity to make charitable donations and, in that spirit, I invite you to join me in supporting the Baruch Means Business campaign through the CUNY Voluntary Giving program.

The City University of New York established this initiative almost 30 years ago as the exclusive system for employees to donate to participating charities – including the Baruch College Fund  – through direct payroll deductions. It is an expression of the University community’s inspiring culture of philanthropy and is still the only donation drive across all CUNY campuses.

I hope you will consider joining me to support the city’s vital public services threatened by rising costs and strained by government funding budgets. Now is the time, as both the Baruch Means Business campaign and the CUNY Voluntary Giving program end with the close of this semester.

This final phase of the Baruch Means Business campaign is focused on necessary resources that benefit everyone including: scholarships, faculty recruitment and retention, new academic developments, integrating cutting edge technology, and enhancing current facilities.

I encourage you to visit cuny.edu/campaign to read more about the CUNY Voluntary Giving program and the many worthy charities involved. Should you, too, wish to designate your gift to the Baruch Means Business campaign, we are incredibly proud to recognize our generous donors on the Honor Roll and as members of the 17 Lex Society.

Please direct any questions you have about the CUNY Voluntary Giving program to Hillary Cohen, Baruch’s Campus Coordinator. Thank you for your consideration and I wish you and your loved ones a happy holiday weekend.

Regards,

Mitchel B. Wallerstein
President, Baruch College
