Dear Faculty and Staff,
I wish to call your attention to the revised CUNY Policy on Sexual Misconduct, effective January 1, 2015 (the “Policy”). The Policy holds that every member of The City University of New York community, including students, employees and visitors, deserves the opportunity to live, learn and work free from sexual harassment, gender-based harassment and sexual violence.
Section VI (Reporting/Confidentiality Obligations of College and University Employees) of the Policy sets forth in subsection B the “Responsible Employees,” who are required to report any incident(s) of sexual harassment, gender-based harassment, or sexual violence to the College’s Title IX Coordinator. These Responsible Employees include:
In compliance with the policy, the College’s Title IX Coordinator is appointed to investigate complaints and report her or his findings to the College president for disposition. Baruch College’s Title IX Coordinator is Kieran B. Morrow in the Office of Diversity, Compliance, and Equity Initiatives, 646-312-4542, Diversity@baruch.cuny.edu.
