Message from President Mitchel B. Wallerstein

Mitchel Wallerstein
As president, it is my pleasure to provide you with insight into what makes our College so special. First, we are a highly ranked public institution of higher education that offers a world-class education in business, the arts and sciences, and public affairs at a very affordable price, meaning that students can complete their undergraduate or graduate degrees at Baruch without having to go deeply into debt. Second, we are located in the heart of mid-town Manhattan in one of the most vibrant and exciting cities in the world with easy access to all that New York has to offer. Third, with a talented faculty and committed staff, Baruch is highly successful in preparing its students to be tomorrow's leaders in business, government, non-profit management, law and many other liberal arts disciplines. Our students take seriously their role as contributors and problem-solvers for our society and for the City of New York. Read the President's full message >
