This section is comprised of two parts. The first shows aggregate income for the U.S., New York State and each of the counties (boroughs); per capita income in the same format; per capita income as a percentage of the U.S. average; and other details of income such as range, composition, and so on, for the years ending in zero (1980, 1990, 2000, 2010). The second part shows taxes paid by NYC Residents in various classifications (income, estate, real estate and so on). There is also a table which indicates rate of taxes paid by NYC residents for education versus lower state funding. |
