Writing Center Open For Extended Hours During Exam Season

Baruch’s Writing Center has announced extended hours and services for the rest of the semester. The expanded schedule is as follows:

Expanded Hours through May 25 (i.e., through exam week)

Monday: 10 am - 8 pm

Tuesday: 10 am - 8 pm

Wednesday: 10 am - 8 pm

Thursday: 10 am - 8 pm

Friday: 10 am - 5 pm

Saturday: 10 am - 5 pm

Students are also encouraged to sign up for a free consultation with a Writing Center counselor. To schedule an appointment, complete the online form on the Writing Center’s website at www.baruch.cuny.edu/writingcenter. Students can also reserve a place at a group workshop or book an online chat help session through the Center’s website. Students who want to receive e-tutoring and commentary on a particular paper can e-mail their writing assignments (as Microsoft Word attachments) to writingcenter@baruch.cuny.edu.

Walk-in consultations at the Center are available on a first-come, first-served basis, and are limited to 30 minutes. The Writing Center is located in Room 8-185 of the Newman Vertical Campus. For more information, call the Writing Center at 646-312-4012.
