Baruch College Presents "State of Our City Forum"
School of Public Affairs to lead discussion on post-campaign transition in New York City
NEW YORK, NY - February 24, 2014 - Baruch College’s School of Public Affairs and City & State invite you to its 4th Annual State of Our City forum to discuss transportation, healthcare, and development on Thursday, February 27.
After the dust has settled from campaign season and the political narrative begins the slow, grinding transition into governing, public policy experts, business leaders and New York City government officials discuss how the landscape has shifted in city government, and if we are heading in the right direction.
Some of the speakers include Steve Sigmund, Executive Director, Global Gateway Alliance; William Wheeler, Director of Planning, Metropolitan Transportation Authority; Hon. Ydanis Rodriguez, Chair, Council Transportation Committee; Hon. Richard N. Gottfried, Chair, Assembly Health Committee; Hany Abdelaal, DO, Chief Medical Officer, Visiting Nurse Service of New York; and, Hon. Jumaane D. Williams, Chair, Council Committee on Housing and Buildings, among others.
