Baruch College Selected for Visit by Sen. Hillary Clinton

New York, NY – Jun. 4, 2008 – Presidential candidate Senator Hillary Clinton (D-NY) and former President Bill Clinton visited Baruch on Tuesday, Jun. 3 at the close of the Democratic Party's primary election season.

The Clinton team chose Baruch College's William and Anita Newman Vertical Campus in central Manhattan as the venue for a speech marking the close of the 16-month primary calendar.

A number of elected officials were in attendance, including New York State Governor David A. Paterson, New York City Council Speaker Christine Quinn, Congress members Carolyn Maloney, Nydia Velazquez, Anthony Weiner, and others.
