Sixteen Baruch Student-Athletes To Receive CUNYAC Scholar-Athlete Certificates
Sixteen Baruch student-athletes have been honored for their
success in the classroom and on the playing field by winning
CUNYAC Scholar-Athlete Certificates for their hard work during
the Fall 2003 Semester.
CUNYAC Executive Director Zak Ivkovic signed the certificates.
Men's soccer led with five student-athletes on the list.
The winners will receive their respective certificate at the
athletic
banquet to take place in the spring.
The winners are as follows:
Women's Cross Country:

Ranford Champagnie Named Mens Soccer Coach
The Baruch College Athletic Department today announced that assistant coach Ranford Champagnie has been promoted to mens soccer coach. The school also named Dima Kamenshchik as an assistant coach. Champagnie, 27, had been an assistant coach at Baruch since 2001. He enjoyed an outstanding three-year career at St. Johns, scoring five goals and 15 assists totals. The former midfielder, who holds a marketing degree from St. Johns, lives in Brooklyn with his wife, Christina, and his two year-old twin sons, Justin and Julian. Assistant Coach Dima Kamenshchik, 22, is a 1999 graduate of Edward R. Murrow High School in Brooklyn, N.Y. He played the last two seasons with the Bearcats and was a senior captain this past season. He will graduate in January 2004 with a degree in marketing management.
