A New Era for Baruch College Students: Moving In!
For the first time in 50 years, Baruch College students will have a chance to experience what most undergraduates take for granted – residential life in a dormitory filled with their peers.
On Sunday, August 22, 120 students, 92 of them freshmen, will move into a state-of-the-art dormitory located at 101 Ludlow Street, in the heart of the historic lower east side.
For these Baruch students, the endless subway slogs from flushing, sheepshead bay and the bronx will be ancient history.
On hand for the moving-in ritual will be residence counselors, weepy parents, and students toting boxes, bags, computers, bicycles, etc. Photo op. Coverage invited.
