New Live@Baruch Student E-mail System
Now Active

New York, NY – March 21, 2008 – Live@Baruch, Baruch's new student e-mail system for undergraduate and graduate students, is now operational. The new system, supported by Microsoft's Exchange technology, replaces the College's current WebMail communication client and offers Baruch students a range of improvements, including the following features:

  • 5 gigabytes of storage space
  • Round-the-clock customer support provided by Microsoft
  • 14 megabytes of space for each message, including up to 10 megabytes of attachments and up to 50 attachments
  • Off-line access, POP access, and more access to personal accounts all in one place
  • A lifetime Baruch e-mail address

E-mail messages sent to current student webmail accounts after 9:00 P.M., Saturday Mar. 22 will be automatically forwarded to the appropriate Live@Baruch account. In addition, e-mail addresses in Blackboard and CUNY Portal will be updated to reflect the new Live@Baruch e-mail accounts.

Baruch College will continue to forward all messages that are sent to the student's webmail accounts through June 1, 2008. After June 1, messages sent to webmail accounts will no longer be delivered. Students should notify their correspondents of their new Live@Baruch e-mail account before that date.

All e-mail correspondence from Baruch and CUNY will be sent to students' Live@Baruch e-mail account. To log into the system, visit
