Baruch College Honors Accomplished Educator and Business Executive at 24th Annual Baruch Dinner

NEW YORK, NY-April 4, 2013 – Baruch College will honor two of its own during the 24th Annual  Bernard Baruch Dinner on Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at The Pierre in New York City.

Friends, colleagues and alumni will pay tribute to alum Allen G. Aaronson’48, and Adjunct Professor Dr. Herbert R. Bringberg, who’s been teaching at Baruch since 1989. They are being honored for their civic leadership and continued support for the college.

Aaronson is the chairman and CEO of AVRS, Ltd., a real estate and management consulting enterprise. He graduated from the School of Business and Civic Administration in 1946, and earned his BBA in 1948.  As the only undergraduate Trustee of the Alumni Association, he was a key participant in the decision to rename the downtown campus for the distinguished alumnus Bernard M. Baruch. 

Dr. Herbert R. Brinberg has been an Adjunct Professor of Management at Baruch College since 1989.   Before establishing Parnassus Associates, he was President and CEO of Wolters Kluwer U.S. Corporation, a subsidiary of Wolters Kluwer NV of the Netherlands.
