School of Public Affairs Launches New Website

New York, NY – Aug. 4, 2008 – Baruch College's School of Public Affairs has unveiled a redesigned website that provides visitors with enhanced features and a more interactive structure than its predecessor. The new website is the product of an eight-month initiative led by a team from SPA and the Baruch College Technology Center, working with the consulting firm Bemporad, Baranowski Marketing Group.

Improvements to the site include new photographs, a design concept consistent with the School’s recently released viewbook, and added technical features including an expanded calendar, an improved search capacity, and the ability to submit forms and other enrollment information online.

The site continues to offer a great deal of information that is useful to prospective students, faculty, and to members of the public who regularly participate in the events hosted by the School’s centers. "The redesign captures the dynamism and excitement at the School of Public Affairs," said Dean David S. Birdsell. "I am confident that the many people who visit our site to seek information will find this new version both lively and useful."

The School is grateful to Patrick Ackerman and others at BCTC for their work on the redesigned site and applauds the efforts of Yvette Kelley, Barbara Fife, Corrine Kohlmeyer-Hyman, Valerie Lisyansky and Gregorio Morales, who shepherded the project in SPA.
