Baruch College's Zicklin School of Business Lecture:
Reporting Financial Performance: The Key to Resolving Many Vexatious Standard Setting Issues?
NEW YORK, NY- October 25, 2012 – The Stan Ross Department of Accountancy in the Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College is hosting a lecture titled, “Reporting Financial Performance: The Key to Resolving Many Vexatious Standard Setting Issues?” on October 29, 2012. The lecture will be presented by Thomas J. Linsmeier, a member of the Financial Accounting Standards Board, in the Information & Technology Building (Library Building) 151 E. 25th St. Rackow Conference Room (750).
Before serving as a member of the Financial Accounting Standards Board, Thomas J. Linsmeier, PhD, CPA, was Russell E. Palmer Endowed Professor and Chairman of the Department of Accounting and Information Systems at Michigan State University. He was an academic fellow and special consultant to the Office of the Chief Accountant at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, and held professorial appointments at the University of Iowa and the University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign earlier in his career.
One hour of New York State Continuing Professional Education (CPE) in Accounting is available for attending this lecture.
