Public Accounting Report's 32nd Annual Professors Survey Shows Baruch Improvements Across all Rankings Categories
NEW YORK, NY- September 6, 2013 - Baruch College’s undergraduate and graduate accounting programs moved up in ranking, according to the Public Accounting Report (PAR) 32nd Annual Professors Survey 2013 released in August.
PAR’s Annual Professors Survey is the nation’s only survey that allows accounting professors to rank the nation’s best accounting programs. The survey is a proprietary product necessitating confidentiality for the sake of protecting its participants, as well as PAR’s own competitive interests. It provides professors an opportunity to share their views with accounting firms about campus recruiting. Hundreds of professors from nearly 200 U.S. colleges and universities participated in the 2013 survey, which was conducted in May and June.
In the PAR, Baruch College ranked in the following categories:
- #15 (up from #24 in 2012) - “Top 25 Undergraduate Programs”
- #18 (up from #26 in 2012) - “Top 25 Masters Programs”
- #11 (up from #16 in 2012) - “Top 25 Undergraduate Rankings of Schools with 22+ Full-time Accounting Faculty”
- #12 (up from #15 in 2012) “Top 25 Masters Rankings of Schools with 22+ Full-time Accounting Faculty”
Founded in 1978, The Public Accounting Report is an independent newsletter of the Accounting Profession, produced by Wolters Kluwer, under CCH Incorporated.
