Baruch NABA Chapter Takes First Place in Student Case Study Competition
Baruch's National Association of Black Accountants Inc (NABA) student chapter won first place in the NABA/KPMG LLP National Student Case Study Competition, which was held during NABA's Annual National Convention in Orlando, FL this June. This year's team included five accounting majors: Abubakar Ahmed, Latisha Bempong, Tishel Collins, Angie Hildalgo and Keyeshia Joseph. This is the second win for the student chapter at Baruch within the past three years.
The student case study competition is a national competition where students thoroughly research, develop and prepare a presentation that addresses accounting and business related topics. Fifty students from colleges and universities from across the country participated in 2011.
