Baruch College Welcomes Entrepreneur, Author Lindsey Pollak, Oct. 1


NEW YORK, NY- September 17, 2014 - Baruch College and the Graduate Career Management Center in the Zicklin School of Business welcomes Lindsey Pollak, author of the newly released Becoming the Boss, for a discussion and book signing on Oct. 1.

All graduate and undergraduate students are invited to meet Pollak for a discussion about self-branding from 4 p.m. – 5 p.m, in room 14-220 of the Newman Vertical Campus Building. The public is invited to attend the book signing at 5:15 p.m., in the Barnes and Noble bookstore located on the first floor of the Newman Vertical Campus. Media are invited to attend the discussion and book signing.

Lindsey Pollak is a best-selling author, keynote speaker and one of the world’s leading experts on training, managing and marketing to the Millennial generation. Pollak is the author of Getting from College to Career: Your Essential Guide to Succeeding in the Real World. Her new book, Becoming the Boss: New Rules for the Next Generation of Leaders, published by HarperCollins, focuses on leadership for Millennials. She serves as an official ambassador for LinkedIn, spokesperson for The Hartford’s “My Tomorrow” campaign and chair of the Cosmopolitan magazine Millennial Advisory Board. Pollak, a graduate of Yale University, has appeared on the “Today” show, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, FOX Business, Glamour, CNN and NPR. She appears on several lists of “Best People to Follow on Twitter,” including Mashable’s list of top non-fiction authors. Forbes named her blog one of the “Top 100 Websites for Your Career.”
