Zicklin School of Business Welcomes NYC Real Estate Entrepreneur Jeff Sutton



NEW YORK, NY - April 1, 2014 The Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College welcomes Jeff Sutton, Founder and President of Wharton Properties, for a Management Speaker Series. The event is co-sponsored by the Narendra Paul Loomba Department of Management, Lawrence N. Field Center for Entrepreneurship, and William Newman Real Estate Department.

Sutton will speak about his career building one of the most successful commercial real estate companies. Over the last 20 years, Wharton Properties amassed over 120 properties in prime locations throughout New York City and signed major leases for flagship stores like Giorgio Armani, American Eagle and Abercrombie & Fitch. He will explain how he developed relationships with retailers and utilized win-win negation strategies. Sutton will also give his predictions for the industry and offer tips for those wanting to launch a career in real estate.

Sutton graduated summa cum laude from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He donates much of his time and money to many charities and is actively involved with the youth of his community through various organizations.
