Baruch College Welcomes Wall Street Veteran and Author Larry Doyle for Presentation
"In Bed With Wall Street"
NEW YORK, NY- February 6, 2014 -The Robert Zicklin Center for Corporate Integrity at Baruch College’s Zicklin School of Business will host a presentation by author Larry Doyle on his new book, “In Bed with Wall Street: The Conspiracy Crippling Our Global Economy.” The event is co-sponsored by The New York Chapter of the National Investor Relations Institute.
Mr. Doyle will present his view on Wall Street, politicians and regulators and how they have failed to protect investors, consumers and the American taxpayer. He will give insight into the lack of trust in the system, given the recent multi-billion dollar trading losses at JP Morgan Chase, the manipulation of interest rates via the LIBOR scandal, and money laundering with North American cartels. He will also discuss reforms that big banks are avoiding, which would protect the economy.
Mr. Doyle has held senior trading positions at First Boston, Bear Stearns and UBS, primarily in the mortgage-backed securities business, as well as senior sales positions at Bank of America and JP Morgan Chase. In January 2009, he launched his blog, Sense on Cents, to give insights and perspectives on the economy, markets and global finance.
The event is co-sponsored by The New York Chapter of the National Investor Relations Institute.
