The Bearcats celebrate their second CUNYAC tournament title in three years.

The Bearcats men’s soccer team clinched their second CUNY Athletic Conference title in three years by defeating John Jay College’s Bloodhounds 1-0 on Nov. 4. The win secured an automatic place in the NCAA Soccer Tournament for the Bearcats, who ended their season with an impressive 12-7-1 record.

Sophmore striker Daniel Wright converted a cross from midfielder David Shin in the 25th minute to score the only goal in the CUNYAC tournament finale. Bearcats goalkeeper Nelson DiBastiano made four saves and prevented John Jay College from equalizing in the final minute of the game. “It was another total team effort that brings Baruch another championship trophy to campus,” said Ranford Champaignie, the team’s head coach.
