Baruch College's Corporate Communications International Hosts Discussion on the
NYC Mayoral Race

NEW YORK, NY- October 4, 2013 - CCI- Corporate Communication International at Baruch College is hosting a panel discussion,“Run It Like a Campaign -What Political Strategists Can Teach Corporate Communicators” on October 17. The discussion, featuring George Arzt and Peter Peyser, will focus on insights regarding the New York City mayoral race and what corporate communicators can learn from the crises and strategies that took place during campaigning.

George Arzt is President of George Arzt Communications, Inc. He has been actively involved in the politics and public affairs of New York City and the nation for decades. As a journalist, television news producer, mayoral press secretary, and public relations consultant, George Arzt has been an active participant in the American political debate.

Peter A. Peyser,Principal of Peyser Associates LLC, is an innovative strategist who employs his network of contacts in the federal government, in statehouses and city halls, and in the financial sector. Peter has served as staff in the U.S. House of Representatives and in the Office of the Mayor of the City of New York; and has worked in public affairs and lobbying for various firms, two of which he founded.

The panel will be moderated by Stuart Goldstein, who has a background in political campaigning in New Jersey and a long history in corporate communications for the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC), American Express Co. and Citicorp.
