Baruch College Hosts Third Annual Zicklin-CAPCO Conference in Finance,
"Banking Reloaded"

NEW YORK, NY- October 16, 2014 – The Weissman Center for International Business at Baruch College and  The Capco Institute is hosting a conference, “Banking Reloaded,” on October 29 to discuss the future of finance. Experts from established banks, new market entrants and technology start-ups will examine how different areas of the financial supply chain are being disrupted and reshaped.

Ronan Ryan, Chief Strategy Officer at IEX Group, one of the central characters from Michael Lewis’s popular book, Flash Boys, will speak about the future of trading and technology. Another keynote speaker, John Abel,Vice President, Depository Trust & Clearing Company (DTCC) will talk about initiatives to reduce systemic transaction risk. Other topics include how the cost of trading will shape future bank strategies, how wealth is changing to meet the needs of millennials, and whether crypto-currencies can change financial services.
