Baruch College's Small Business Development Center Hosts "Business Plan Basics" Seminar
NEW YORK, NY- November 14, 2012 – To be successful, every start-up company must put an effective business plan in place, but many aspiring entrepreneurs struggle with getting started. On November 26, the Small Business Development Center at Baruch College is offering a “Business Plan Basics” seminar on how to launch a company with an effective written business strategy.
Allison Lehr, a professor in the Lawrence N. Field Center for Entrepreneurship, will introduce the small business owner to the essential components every business plan should have in order to attract potential investors. Entrepreneurs will learn tips on what an investor may be looking for, determine the level of detail they should present in their plans, and will have the opportunity to begin writing. This event is free and open to the public.

The Baruch Small Business Development Center and Field Center for Entrepreneurship offer free workshops throughout the year for start-ups and established businesses. These non-credit bearing workshops are taught by established professionals and Field Mentors who serve as faculty at the Zicklin School of Business.
