Baruch Gets High Marks in Latest MBA Rankings
Rated Best Public MBA Program in New York;
Moves Up to 64th in Nation
US News and World Report has ranked Baruch’s full-time
MBA program as the best graduate business degree granted by
a public institution in New York State, and 64th among all
graduate business programs in the nation, according to the
magazine’s 2006 edition of “America’s Best
Graduate Schools.” The ranking reflects a considerable
advance over last year’s 87th-place position on the
influential national list, and emphasizes the College's growing
national reputation as a center for excellence in business
education.
The Zicklin School’s full-time MBA ranks third overall
in New York City, behind Columbia University’s School
of Business and NYU’s Stern School of Business. The
magazine also rated the program 33rd in its list of the top
public MBA programs in the country. Baruch’s part-time
MBA program was rated the 25th best in the country.
The improved standing of the graduate program comes on the
heels of last year’s ranking of the undergraduate
business program as 48th in the nation, which represented
a significant advance. US News and World Report also
named Baruch the most diverse college in America last year,
awarding the College that honor for the sixth year in a row.
