About the Program

By participating in the Marxe Global Leadership Institute, students will learn how public and non-governmental organizations are involved in the policy process; strategic communications; how municipalities are managed; the role of local, state, and federal government; and other related topics. We will organize special field trips and tours to NYC government agencies and private businesses, and to our nation’s capital in Washington D.C. to show how government works at every level in the United States.

The Austin W. Marxe School of Public and International Affairs is a truly unique destination for foreign students, offering numerous opportunities to travel and study in New York City. As a top-ranking school in the U.S. for public affairs, we will offer the tools and experience needed to enhance students’ academic and career goals in management and leadership.
