**DEADLINE FOR SUMMER PROGRAMS HAVE PASSED, INFORMATION IS FOR REFERENCE ONLY**

Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio) offers Brazilian Seminars - an international summer school which provides students, young scholars and international administrators with the opportunity to deepen their knowledge about Brazil. It’s an interdisciplinary program meant to give a broad perspective of Brazilian issues which are currently in the global scenario. The program consists of 48 hours of lectures and off-class activities that offer a panorama on Brazil’s different aspects, ranging from politics to environmental issues, from culture to public health.

Program cost: 1450 USD *includes tuition, cultural activities and technical visits

Course dates: July 12 - July 27, 2018

*There is an optional Portuguese survival language course from July 9 - July 12 for an additional fee of 380 USD (includes tuition and cultural activities).

Accommodation: 615 USD for a single room (to be confirmed and price includes breakfast) *Availability for housing/Brazilian Homestay is limited and is on a first come, first served basis.
