Sandi Singer is currently an independent consultant on legal and contracting issues. For the past 20 years, she has worked exclusively on government contracts matters. In her current practice, she has represented large and small contractors on bid protests, claims, self-disclosures, and internal investigations. While working with the Human Services Council of New York City (HSC) from 2004-2011, she represented HSC and their individual nonprofit member agencies with the City Administration and the City Council collaborating on efforts for contract reform. Prior to that, Sandi had a successful ten-year career with New York City government, developing unmatched expertise in procurement policies and practices. She served as general counsel and deputy director for legal affairs and integrity review at the Mayor's Office of Contracts (2000-2003), general counsel to the Mayor's Office of Construction (1998-2000), general counsel to the Procurement Policy Board (1996-1998), and counsel to the City Council Committee on Contracts (1994-1996).
Sandi holds a Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in History from the State University of New York at Binghamton.
