Biography

Dr. Muhleisen is a political scientist who studies international regimes, regulatory politics, and global governance with a specific focus on trade and financial regulation. She is the former Assistant Director of the European Union Studies Center and has previously taught courses on global governance, regionalism, and international organizations. She holds an MA in European Union International Relations and Diplomacy from the Coll├Ęge d'Europe in Belgium. She has been awarded a Fulbright study grant to the European Union from the Fulbright-Schuman Commission and the Institute of International Education, and a Getting to Know Europe Grant from the European Commission.

She received her PhD in Political Science from The Graduate Center in 2016.
