Baruch’s Part-Time and Full-Time MBA Programs Rank First Among Public Schools in New York State in U.S. News & World Report’s Index of America’s Best Graduate Schools 2008

Baruch College’s Part-Time MBA Program Ranked 21st Nationally

New York, NY, April 2, 2007— For the 10th time in the last 11 years, the part-time MBA program of Baruch College’s Zicklin School of Business has ranked in the top 25 in U.S. News & World Report’s Index of America’s Best Graduate Schools.  This year Baruch’s part-time MBA program ranked 21st – placing it second among all MBA programs in New York City.  Baruch College’s full-time MBA program is one of the top three New York City programs and, at 67th overall, is listed among the top full-time graduate business programs in the country.  Baruch College’s part-time and full-time MBA programs are the highest ranked public programs in New York State. 

According to Zicklin’s Dean John Elliott, “The Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College seeks continuous improvement in all of its programs.  These rankings reflect the high quality of our MBA degree and provide assurance that our efforts are succeeding.  Ultimately our goal is to provide a great education for our hard working, ambitious, and talented students.”

It offers nationally ranked undergraduate, part-time and full-time MBA programs, plus an accelerated part-time MBA, and specialized masters and doctoral degrees. Baruch’s business programs are accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), representing the highest standard of achievement for business schools world-wide.  In 1998, Baruch College named the Zicklin School of Business in appreciation for a generous gift from Larry Zicklin, class of 1957, who had a distinguished career as Managing Partner and Chairman of the Board of Neuberger Berman prior to its recent acquisition by Lehman Brothers.
