About QuantNetwork (WEBSITE: http://www.quantnet.org)
QuantNetwork is the student organization for the Master of Science Program in Financial Engineering at Baruch College.
Created in 2003, QuantNetwork is the virtual hub for the MFE students, and is glad to serve the quantitative finance community at large.
QuantNetwork features an active forum, an alumni portal, news and info for prospective students.
QuantNetwork organizes a series of bi-weekly talks by practitioners from the financial industry.

Abstract:This talk presents a fast, flexible numerical technique to price American options and generate their value surface through time.
The method runs faster and more accurately than the standard CRR binomial method in practical cases and calculates options
on a considerably broader family of new, useful underlying asset processes.
