MTH 1030 – College Algebra

This course contains those algebraic topics which are needed for most basic quantitative courses at the college, including linear equations, rates of change, rational expressions, circles, functions and their graphs, inverse functions, exponential and logarithmic functions, the geometric series, an introduction to annuities, non-linear systems of equations and related applications. Students are required to have a calculator for this course, we encourage the use of the TI 89 or 92 graphical calculator which will be required for precalculus.
