Although our first official meeting took place on the Staten Island Ferry on our commute to Baruch, we later ran into each other in the halls of the 18th Street building back in 1987. We started dating in February 1989 and got married in March 1994. My husband Jim graduated from Baruch in June of 1992 with a BBA degree in marketing and has been employed as a senior spot buyer at Mediavest Worldwide for the past 10 years. I, on the other hand, graduated in February of 1993 with a BBA in office administration and technology. I had been employed for nine years at Lehman Brothers Inc. when I decided to be a stay-at-home mom after our second child was born in April of last year.

The years have gone by quickly and although we could have met earlier around Staten Island, we didn't. Just think that it took our commute to Baruch for our paths to cross. The friendship that started back in September of 1987 eventually blossomed and led to marriage and two wonderful children.
