In my first year at Baruch, I saw a good-looking student named Pearl Gnesin. It took me another year to end up in the same BA course with Professor Bradford teaching. He wondered how I ended up next to a "G" student since all seats were alphabetical. I was then working for the Business Administration Department part-time and had use of an office...which I used occasionally to meet Pearl and socialize.

Pearl became Miss City College (Baruch) in 1945 and being numbers people, we became engaged on 2/3/45 and married on 4/7/46. We have had and will continue to have a wonderful life together, with two remarkable children who live in California.
