Bryan and I celebrated our first wedding anniversary on September 4, 2006. Truly, ours has been an unlikely but fine romance.

We met in the spring of 2003. As fate would have it, we were communication majors who had two classes in common, international communications and business communications. There were subsequent ones, but the first two classes are engraved in my consciousness. I suspect it will be forever.

Ours was not an earth-quickening event. My heart did not stop when I saw him across the room. Neither did his, lest I appear arrogant. But the bud of our friendship was like the newness of that spring, with each encounter unfolding like the petals of a rose.

On my birthday, November 16, 2005, a year and a half later, Bryan asked me to be his wife! 

We have since graduated from Baruch, and have started an information technology consulting practice, Abrahams Consulting LLC (www.abrahamsconsulting.com). We are confident there will be many more ecstatic moments in the years ahead and we would love the opportunity to continue to share them with you and the alumni community at Baruch College.  After all, it is where we found our love.
