Internship Fair 2006
This year’s Internship Fair, held on Feb. 3, drew a record 58 companies and organizations and over 750 students to the Newman Vertical Campus gymnasium. Students—mostly juniors and seniors—introduced themselves to recruiters in hopes of gaining a valuable internship with one of the many prominent companies in attendance. Though the majority of students present were business majors, there were many opportunities for those majoring in liberal arts and public affairs as well.
Among the companies, first-time attendees this year included FTI Consulting, Kenneth Cole Productions, L’Oreal USA, Maimonides Medical Center, New York City Office of Emergency Management, Procter & Gamble, SONY BMG Music Entertainment Inc., Time Warner, and Verizon Communications.
