Baruch alumni are diverse, and hard to categorize. That’s why, beginning with this issue of the magazine, we’re launching a People to Watch series that will profile alumni according to many different groupings—by, for example, profession, or special interests, or geography—to showcase the variety of Baruch graduates and their contributions to our world. But we begin by profiling some alumni by age. All are under 40, and they represent areas from book publishing to medicine to law to finance to music. They are also, in ways apart from age, members of the same generation, “Generation Baruch,” the kind the College has always served: intelligent, driven, highly motivated, with an insatiable desire to better itself, in every way. No generation more accurately reflects the American Dream.
