has set up the Web site Imadeadifference.com, which informs
visitors of the unselfish acts people perform every day. Gilbert
King, who has three children and two grandsons, recently
retired as Warnaco Corp.’s VP of marketing/sales. He
is currently the president of both Baruch in Florida and the
Class of 1951. In his spare time, he plays tennis, goes to
the health club, bikes, and is a volunteer driver for cancer
patients.

industry, health, science, and the arts. Gittelman is a recent
recipient of the Baruch alumni Outstanding Achievement Award.

the Metropolitan Museum, and the Museum of Modern Art. Arthur

made a presentation at a seminar sponsored by the Atlantic
County Prosecutor’s Office of Victims Advocacy in Atlantic
City. His talk dealt with the provision of psychological services
to the members of the NYPD in the aftermath of 9/11. In March

won the Vero Beach (Fla.) Art Club’s Award for Best
in Show Acrylics Overall at the 51st annual Under the Oaks
art show. Barbara Yospe, recently
retired as president of Baruch in Florida, was honored at

He has been with the regulatory agency for 32 years and currently

appointed chief information officer at the New York City Housing
Authority, has 28 years of experience in IT planning, management,
and client services. He was a founding member of N.Y.C.’s
Department of Information Technology and Telecommunications
(DoITT) and has been the agency’s deputy commissioner
since 1998. He has also served as executive director of New
York’s Office of New Media, the organization behind
the city’s Web presence (NYC.gov) and continues to be
part of its executive board.
