In July, CPA Paul D. Neuwirth ('57) was appointed independent director to the board of directors of MediaBay, Inc., a spoken audio media marketing company. Retired as managing partner of Grant Thornton LLP, Neuwirth currently serves as consultant to the company on client issues and litigation cases. Since 1979, he has been on the faculty of the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. A member of the American Institute of CPAs, he was chairman of its insurance trust committee for 12 years.

Retired from the Internal Revenue Service, Lila Gage Mussman and her husband, Jerry, reside in St. Petersburg, Fla., where they are involved with various philanthropic activities. After 25 years of service, Rosalyn Rich retired from the New York State Insurance Department in June 2003. Philip Soskin was appointed to the Rockland (N.Y.) County Legislature in January 2003.

Florence Satow Isaacs has published her sixth nonfiction book, Change Your Mind, Change Your Body: Feeling Good About Your Body and Self After 40, written with Ann Kearney-Cooke (Atria Books, 2004). Isaacs is past president of the American Society of Journalists and Authors. She lives in Manhattan and Woodstock, N.Y. Anita R. Shaw (MBA '66), whose paintings were shown at the Vero Beach Museum of Art in 2003, is currently teaching painting techniques in libraries and recreation centers, as well as privately. She publishes a quarterly newsletter, Shawismo, for collectors.

In June, Mark J. Tenenhaus (MBA '79) joined Radian Asset Assurance as VP, market development, where he is responsible for marketing Radian to investors and trading desks, as well as strategic planning for the company's secondary market platform. In his 25 years of experience in municipal bond research and market analysis, he has held management positions for Morgan Stanley, J.P. Morgan Investment Management, and Dean Witter Reynolds.

She is also the special-interest group leader of its Database Professionals Council. She is currently a project leader with the business intelligence team at Citigate Hudson, a provider of Web-based business intelligence applications.
