New York Times:
WOMAN STUDENT ELECTED
Sadie Rosen Heads City College Business School Council

Nov. 17, 1943.

The student council at City College's School of Business and Civic Administration has elected a woman student for the first time in its history, it was announced yesterday by Mrs. Ruth C. Wright, dean of students. Miss Sadie Rosen, 957 Tiffany Street, the Bronx, is the new head of the body.

Indicating the increased enrollment of women is the fact that of the fourteen other council officials and delegates chosen nine are women. Bernard T. Goldstein, a senior, was named vice president and Miss Rosalind Klein, a junior, will serve as secretary.
