Schedule of Meetings and Submissions Deadlines

Submitting Human Subjects Protocols Requiring Full IRB review

If you are planning to submit a protocol requiring the full committee’s review (FULL IRB), you must contact Keisha Peterson immediately and submit 11 hard copies of your protocol (including all materials included in your application).

All submissions must be received by the IRB no later than 4:30pm on the submission deadlines.

Exceptions to these deadlines cannot be granted.

• June 23
• July 21
• September 22
• October 27
• November 17*

Submission Deadlines

• May 5 - For May 19 meeting
• June 9 - For June 23 meeting
• July 12 - For July 21 meeting
• September 8 - For September 22 meeting
• October 13 - For October 27 meeting
• November 9 - For November 17 meeting*

* - Please note that our November 17th meeting will be the last meeting of the year due to the CUNY Human Research Protection Program (HRPP) Reorganization.

NOTE: These dates refer to applications requiring full review. Applications that require exempt or expedited reviews can be submitted to the IRB any time.
